The Author is an open source enthusiast and is currently pursuing his Bachelors in engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi. The author is keen on learning and exploring new things. He is working diligently on exploring the new boundaries of operating system kernels and various CPU architectures. The author has worked in embedded systems too and holds a good knowledge of that. Currently, he is focused on Real Time Operating Systems(RTOS) and this blog is dedicated to the same.

This write-up is based on a  research paper  by Jeffrey S. Chase et al, University of Washington. The above-mentioned research paper takes into consideration the sharing and protection in Opal Operating system. Opal is a single-address-space operating system intended to support complex applications on wide-address architectures.
